Sandra Bullock will be honored with Favorite Humanitarian at 2013 People’s Choice Awards

Hello guys,
I’m so excited to tell you that Sandy will appear on 2013 People’s Choice Awards! She will recieve the “Favorite Humanitarian” award.

The People’s Choice Awards has announced the actress will accept the “Favorite Humanitarian” prize on Wednesday’s show, to air live from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on CBS at 9 p.m. ET.

It’s the first time the group has given out the “Favorite Humanitarian” award.

The actress is being cited for her philanthropic efforts throughout her career, specifically her ongoing commitment to Warren Easton High School in New Orleans following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Sandra Bullock adopted Warren Easton Charter High School less than six months after Hurricane Katrina closed the heavily damaged building. She has contributed funds for college scholarships for graduating seniors, band uniforms, athletic equipment and has helped fund the renovation to the auditorium and the construction of a school-based health clinic.
