Sandra Bullock appeared this morning in Puerta de Tierra in San Juan with her blonde hair and wearing a cream colored executive set to give life to a political consultant on the film “Our Brand is Crisis”, which is been filmed in Puerto Rico since yesterday and it’s produced by George Clooney.
After completing a long and intense day of filming yesterday at Roosevelt Roads Naval Base in Ceiba, Bullock arrived early in the morning to the facilities of the former School of Tropical Medicine in Old San Juan that simulated the “Hotel Condor” in Bolivia, the country where the plot of the film takes place.
About 8:00 am, the Oscar winner arrived at the set and an hour later was instructed to rehearse a scene in which she gets out of the hotel to encounter a political protest in front of it. For this scene, dozens of extras were hired to walk in circles in what appeared to be a protest where Bolivia flags and signs reading “We are all Bolivia” were shown.
Bullock repeated the scene more than eight times. At the beginning of it, she got out of the hotel and down the stairs watching the protest. As she returned inside to repeat the scene, she was covered by the production crew with a huge black umbrella so that she would not be photographed.
