    Sandra,

    Doubt you will see this but am thinking of you. I know what it is like to make the call on whether to stay with someone you love under impossible circumstances and know what it is like to loose contact with a step-daughter. Most people do not undertand how much you can love and want to protect a child that is not your own.

    For me, losing contact with my step-daughter was a lot harder than walking away from my marriage.

    Whatever you decide, please know that although it may feel like people cannot possibly understand what you are feeling, there are those of us who have at least a glimmer of appreciation.

    I am looking at all the photos of Sandra with Sunny. That is not acting or a case of doing one’s duty as a stepmother. That is genuine, loving care and concern for a child being captured in those photos. My favorite is a picture on the internet of Sandra on a play structure with Sunny.
