Jesse James Apologizes to Sandra Bullock

Jesse James provided an official statement to People Magazine:

The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment.

There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.

This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me

EDIT: Guys, I know you all want to support Sandy but comments offensive to Jesse won’t be accepted. We all know Sandy and I’m pretty sure she would not like that. So if you wanna show your support to her, you can comment here, of course, but do not offend Jesse. We still can’t be sure about the whole situation, the press makes everything looks bigger and harder and we should support Sandy, as we always do, but sending her only POSITIVE energies! We can’t decide anything for her. We have to support her no matter what she’ll do. That’s what fans are for! Thank you for understanding!

    Hi Sandra,
I can only imagine what you must be enduring with your life being so public. I wanted to let you know that I am praying for you.

I have a daughter named Sunny as well, what a blessing!!! I hope your stepdaughters can be a source of love and comfort for you at this time.

    Praying for you…

I just want to let Sandra know that she is the “realist” woman in Hollywood. I can honestly say that I love every movie of hers…yes even the mushy dramas! While You Were Sleeping (Awesome!). She even kicked some back end in Demolition Man!

I would like to wish her well in her time of sorrow, and I hope that (being only one of her millions of fans) I can reflect the happiness she gave me every time she lit up the silver screen. Smile Sandy, you are a reflection of what every good natured person struggles to become. Keep it real, girl!

What you are doing is wise. Keep low, and let others be the idiot.

I support Sandra 100%. I have a problem though. When Tiger Woods done the exact same thing…he was called an ADDICT. Jesse James falls weak and he is called a MONSTER. I have a problem with that. Maybe Jesse is an addict too. I want to be clear that I do not support the behavior or the choices made by Jesse or Tiger. But the politics in the media is very unfair…to say the least. Most of us, ones that are alive, have vices. Whether it be chocolate, drugs, food, or sex. Is the addictive personality that makes us addicts. There is so much more involved here. What about Sunny? No one knows what that family is going through. I am just asking could we be considerate of all those involved before we do the name calling….It is bad enough this happened but all the cloudy journalism is just not right.

  7. Jodi Lockyer says:

    Sandra,

I don’t believe what the media usually reports, nor do I believe the frustration it must cause families. I have been married 22 years, and with my hubby 25. All is a life path with two people trying to learn of the other. We also come with our baggage attached from our past. We marry for love, but sometimes get hurt along the way. Hurting people hurt people. Forgiveness is the key to happiness. I really hope your marriage can survive all of this press. We all make mistakes, none of us are perfect in any way! More than anything those vows, and family are the hope we all need to get through this game called life…

    God Bless

    Hi Sandra:

I’m so very sorry for your heartache. We all love and support you in whatever choice or choices you make in your life. Speaking of which, IT’S YOUR LIFE. You will do what is best for you, and you alone. Take time out for Sandra. I know your touchest struggle right now is the children involved. But, they too, will survive and get through this with or without you. Everyone, eventually, heals in the end. Best wishes, my sweet.

  9. Shirley from conservative Massachusetts says:

Humiliating to say the least……………Move past this. Hold your head up high and move on. Going through this myself, years ago, I held on to advice given to me by an older woman: “The fastest way to get over someone, is to meet someone else” It works.
May this Blessed Easter Season bring untold happiness to you in the future.

  10. Ingrid says:

There’s nothing nobody can say when you are grieving that will make you feel better. so I won’t. just take time to grieve. cry. be angry. feel sorry for yourself. close the curtain’s and stay in bed. be with friends. let them listen even when it is for hours. after some time the hurt will become less. you won’t wake up and think.. oh it was real…
One day you will wake up, do your thing and after a couple hours realize that you didnt think about it..that day will come.
All the best to you Sandra, dont be hard on yourself, its not your fault.
    Love, Ingrid

  12. Julio Fernandez says:

    Dear Sandra,
Adultery is one of the more pernicious sin that destroy lifes and marriages once it’s oncovered. From my man perspective I can understand how hurt you can feel after being betrayed. And from my christian perspective, there 2 choices: even Jesus said that under adultery, the divorce is one way. The other choice is more related to how much love you have received from LORD that can drive you to forgive to whom has betrayed or offended you. LORD said that if you forgive, you will be forgiven. Only love can cover all faults per Proverbs says. I hope you can find the peace from GOD that is beyond any human understanding in order to you have serenity during this little storm. Have faith and you will go through any difficulty.
    Regards,
    Julio
