Sandra Bullock covers InStyle Magazine June Issue. Take a look at the interview and don’t forget to pick up your issue on newstands!

Sandra Bullock is standing—well, swaying, actually—in the “sexy-time music room,” a cozy space in her L.A. home that boasts modern chairs, sleek lamps, and lots of furry throws. Prince’s “When Doves Cry” is playing in the background. The room’s vibe, she says, “centers around this amazing Shinola turntable I was given by—and I’m gonna name-drop here—Jen Aniston. She’s so effing generous.” Bullock takes a few moments to let herself really feel the beat. “It’s so good, isn’t it?” she asks. “It gets you. There’s nothing like that needle on the record.”

The Oscar-winning actress, producer, philanthropist, restaurant owner, real-estate tycoon, and mom is psyched to be taking a breath again and feeling the music. After shooting films back-to-back, she’s ready to enjoy some downtime with her kids, Louis, 8, and Laila, 5, and her photographer boyfriend, Bryan Randall. “He’s super kind,” she tells me later. “For the kids he’s sort of No. 1.” She raises her hand above her head. “And I’m No. 2.” She puts her hand at chest height. “But I get it because he’s more fun and has better treats.”

We’re here to talk about Ocean’s 8, out June 8, a spin-off of the popular Ocean’s Eleven series. Bullock, 53, plays Debbie Ocean, sister of Danny Ocean (George Clooney). Fresh out of jail, Debbie recruits a group of kickass women to pull off a heist at New York’s Met Gala.

Sandra covers People’s December 14 issue. She introduced her daughter Laila. Don’t forget to pick up your issue on the newsstand this friday:

The Oscar winner, 51, reveals exclusively to PEOPLE in this week’s issue that she has adopted a daughter, 3½-year-old Laila (pronounced Lila), a little girl from Louisiana who had been in foster care.

“When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here,” says Bullock, who adopted son Louis, 5, in 2010.

“I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time,” she adds.

The process of expanding her family began three years ago, with Louis helping to lead the way.

“Louis spearheaded this whole journey,” she says, and while the two siblings have since formed an inseparable bond, Bullock says the first stages of bringing Laila home required patience and plenty of reassurance.

“I knew she was scared, and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren’t going anywhere,” she says of her daughter, who has brought “pink and glitter in the house mixed with Legos and Batmans.”

In new family photos featured in PEOPLE, taken by L.A. photographer Bryan Randall, whom Bullock has been dating, the star — who hopes to shine a light on the 415,129 children currently in foster care in the U.S. — reveals the playful dynamic she shares with her two children.

“My family is blended and diverse, nutty, and loving and understanding,” she says. “That’s a family.”

Sandra covers the November issue of Glamour US. She talks about fame, co-stars and, of course, her son Louis. You can pick up the November issue of Glamour on newsstands October 13. I’ve added the scans to the gallery

Zoe Kazan: This role was originally written for a man. Is it true you asked to see scripts for male roles?
Sandra Bullock: Yeah. My agent said, “Let’s just start reading the scripts.” She came up with this one. I read it. She goes, “Should we ask them if they’re willing to make it a female?” I said, “Yeah.”
ZK: How did that thought occur to you?
SB: I did as my mother did: I put my blinders on and blazed forward. Sometimes you get a no. But I expect the no. I don’t expect the yes. With this I got very nervous. I didn’t know if George had made this for himself. But the response was “We’re cool with it.” And then the role—I mean, it was so beautifully written for a man. It wasn’t one of those things where you go, “Hmm, how do we change it to a woman?” You just change the sex; that was pretty much it. She’s human. She deals with addiction; she deals with mental illness. She’s brilliant at what she does, and she gets lost in the fact that all she cares about is a win. You look at our world—and back to my son: How do you raise a child to not make it all about the win when all we see in our world is people saying, “In order to have success, you have to win”?

She may be PEOPLE’s 2015 World’s Most Beautiful Woman, but Sandra Bullock doesn’t take herself too seriously when it comes to her appearance.

Despite being in “princess mode” while shooting for this year’s cover story, Bullock, 50, insists she just laughed when she heard about the honor. “No, really. I just said, ‘That’s ridiculous,’ ” she tells PEOPLE. “I’ve told no one.”

Instead the Oscar winner, who voices a super villain in the upcoming movie Minions, has found beauty in her role as mom to her 5-year-old son, Louis, adding that their life together is a constant reminder of what’s important. Read More

Latest issue of People Magazine has an interview with Sandy talking about Warren Easton. They also have this adorable picture of her with some gaduates, take a look:

Sandra Bullock is tired of hearing only bad news.

“No one ever talks about the good,” she says. “If you are ever wondering about how good life is and can be, you can come to Warren Easton.”

The actress, 49, adopted the public charter high school in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.

Bullock’s donations have helped rebuild the historic campus, fund scholarships for graduates, pay for athletic equipment and band uniforms and open a health clinic.

“These kids have been working a couple of jobs, some come from hard places, but every time they walk under that roof, they know they’re cared for,” she says. “They’re admired for what they can bring to the table.”

As principal Alexina Medley puts it, “When you come to Easton, you become part of the family.”

Sandy is on the cover of Entertainment Weekly december 6th issue:

And EW’s Entertainer of the Year is…Sandra Bullock!

She is the gift that keeps on giving. First the 49-year-old Oscar winner teamed up with the uproarious Melissa McCarthy in Paul Feig’s winning buddy cop comedy The Heat. Then, as Dr. Ryan Stone in Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity, Bullock gives an emotionally naked performance that will likely earn her an Oscar nomination. Bullock’s tremendous talent and range – to say nothing of the woman’s trademark grace and good humor in good times and bad – is what earned her the top spot on our annual list of the most exciting performers in 2013.

Bullock’s one-two punch demanded a fair amount of give and take from the actor. When she signed on to The Heat Bullock didn’t expect to be playing straight man to McCarthy’s firehose-blast of a performance. “Once I realized that that drove the film I had to step back,” she says. “Otherwise I would’ve been fighting for something that would’ve ended up on the cutting room floor. It wasn’t what I was hoping for but the end result was the success of the film and people liking us together.” While Bullock nixes any talk of The Heat 2, she says she’s keen for another project with her fast friend McCarthy. (Hollywood, get on this!)

She was a true collaborator on Gravity as well. It was her idea for instance that her character Dr. Ryan Stone was in a raw state of mourning for her dead child. (Originally, the script called for her character to have a child waiting for her back on Earth.) “What if she had absolutely nothing to fight for?” Bullock says she proposed. “She’s lost a child, there’s nothing back home, she’s a person who’s basically a machine. That was my idea and Alfonso was so open to it.”

And as for squashing talk of another Gravity, Bullock appreciated Cuaron’s alternate ending idea of George Clooney falling from the sky on top of her at the end. “The last scene you just see us on top of each other, limbs everywhere,” she imagines with a laugh. “Our hands intertwine with our last breath of air and we die on top of each other clutching the Earth.”

Sandra Bullock is joined by 15 more Entertainers of the Year, including the masterminds behind Breaking Bad, Dallas Buyers Club star Matthew McConaughey, girl on fire Jennifer Lawrence, a very Grumpy Cat, and more. Pick up the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on stands Tuesday Nov. 26, for more.
